Vision Of Destiny—Part 2-3

"Are you awake?... Jax?"

She walks silently, so as to not disturb anyone else. "I just..saw..."

"I'm kind of awake but I can't hear you, are you all right? you sound frightened."

Kitara whispers: "well I had a vision.. and it was bad...um.. can I sleep with you?"
Jax softly: ".....yeah..."

She climbs up and into the safety of warm blankets and a friend.

Kitara lay next to Jax, visions coming still, her dreams not dreams but more visions that cause her to cry out and toss in sleep.

Barely awake she pushes the blankets away and slides out of the blankets.

Seeing only the dream visions Kitara walks silently towards her destination.

She walks blind to the world around her, holding her hands out to the ever present candles she takes one absentmindedly on the way by.
She stops close to the edge of the room, facing a corner of the wall.
Holding the light before her eyes blackened and looking Elsewhere.
She begins her incantations.

Slowly with a hollow creaking sound like trees uprooting themselves, a path rises up from the ground.

 

 

 

She places the candle to light her way and hold the cavern open.

With the light of that first candle the path extends and ghost lights appear on their own.

Kitara still blinded walks into the path the spirit house opened.

A moment later the path is gone.
Jax sleeps undisturbed.
